Genevieve Brown Thompson was raised with her three sisters in San Jose, California by loving parents. She first attended Arizona State University, and then transferred to the University of Utah where she graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition, with an emphasis in electronic composition. She is a pianist and a percussionist.

Genevieve met her husband, Adam, while they were both playing on the U of U Drumline in 1995. They were married in October 1998. They recently moved back to Alpine, Utah after having lived in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, for four years. They have two beautiful little girls, (Riley Brooke and Danikah Bree) here with them, and a baby boy (Keaton) keeping their seats warm in Heaven. They are grateful to be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

A “note:”
Music has always been a major part of my life, and as such I could write pages about my musical experiences. I’m not going to try to impress you, however, with all of my “accomplishments.” Hopefully my music speaks for itself. Feel free to let me know what you think about it, by either contacting me or submitting a comment.
